High School Certified School Psychologist - Fort Collins, Colorado

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Current state license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to adapt services to a varied age range of students
• Solid understanding of special education law and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Support development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Provide expertise on behavior management and student support plans
• Facilitate workshops or trainings for school staff and families
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
