Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license (required)
  • Previous experience working in K-12 schools—elementary, middle, and/or high school
  • Strong skills in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for K-12 students
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students’ needs
  • Support development of individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to promote student well-being and success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
