Step into a pivotal role supporting students' mental and academic success near Fort Myers, FL. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, where you'll collaborate closely with faculty and families to foster positive learning environments. The assignment may involve working across multiple school locations on an itinerant basis, giving you the chance to impact a diverse student population throughout the year.

Your primary responsibilities will center on conducting assessments, crafting clear and thorough reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings for students across various age groups. School-based experience is highly valued, and strong assessment skills are a must to thrive in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current, active FL DOH Psychology license is required
  • Previous background in school psychology, preferably within educational settings
  • Skilled in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments
  • Experience authoring detailed psychoeducational evaluations and reports
  • Ability to work across multiple school sites and adapt to various environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in IEP meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive student evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
  • Generate professional, actionable assessment reports for educators and families
  • Serve as an essential participant in IEP discussions and team meetings
  • Offer expert consultation and strategies to staff, faculty, and parents
  • Travel as needed between school campuses to meet caseload demands
