Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License (FL DOH)
  • School-based experience preferred, particularly with elementary and middle grades
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Timely completion of district-required fingerprinting and badging processes (can utilize AHCA Clearinghouse if previously printed in Florida)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students in Pre-K through 8th grade
  • Deliver direct and consultative services addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and support plans
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed
  • Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families to promote student success
  • Work seamlessly across assigned campuses (exact locations to be determined)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
