Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students' growth and well-being in an educational environment near Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for dedicated School Psychologists or Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) who thrive in diverse settings and are passionate about making a real difference across multiple campuses. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours weekly. You’ll serve as an itinerant resource, traveling between five schools, primarily focusing on elementary-aged students while also assisting some middle school caseloads.

Required Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Fingerprint clearance or verification through TEA—please note credentialing may require up to 10 business days
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Bilingual Spanish/English candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide direct services related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD
  • Perform functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and design/monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate closely with campus educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and behavioral success
  • Provide crisis intervention and data-driven recommendations for student programming and accommodations
