Job Description

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist / Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral support services within a K–12 educational setting. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting multiple campuses during the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: On-Site Only (No Virtual)
Assignment Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Schedule: 35 hours per week
School Assignment: Itinerant position serving approximately five campuses, primarily elementary schools with some middle school caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services.
  • Provide assessment and consultation services for students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD evaluations.
  • Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure compliance with special education regulations.
  • Participate in IEP/ARD meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment findings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) license or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the appropriate state licensing board.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
