Qualifications:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus
  • Must complete or verify fingerprints through TEA (may take up to 10 business days for results)
  • On-site availability only; virtual positions are not available

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an itinerant psychologist between up to 5 schools, focusing on elementary populations and some middle school
  • Deliver evaluations and provide direct services for AU (Autism), ED (Emotional Disturbance), and OHI (Other Health Impairments, including ADHD)
  • Conduct FBAs (Functional Behavior Assessments) and BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans)
  • Offer consultation and collaboration with school staff
