Exciting opportunities are available for qualified school psychologists interested in supporting the needs of students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position calls for seven onsite professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in a school setting. The assignment begins in early August and continues through late May, aligning with the traditional school calendar and allowing for some flexibility with pre and post-planning days. Full-time hours are offered, with consideration for part-time schedules based on individual preferences and district needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Educator Certification in Psychology is required
- Strong ability to maintain accurate service documentation via daily logs
- Willingness to collaborate with district leaders to determine age-group placement based on specific skillsets and preferences
- Prior experience as a school psychologist, preferably in Pre-K through 12 settings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be available for onsite services (remote/VOCO positions are not available for this opening)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments, conduct evaluations, and develop interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to build supportive educational environments
- Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and team consultations as needed
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students within the assigned caseload
- Consistently and accurately complete daily service documentation logs
