Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Ohio School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience in K-6 or elementary environments preferred
- Deep understanding of evaluations, interventions, and student support strategies
- Familiarity with participating in and contributing to IEP meetings
- Strong observational skills for assessing student needs and providing recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Attend and participate actively in IEP meetings as a core team member
- Observe students in various environments to identify strengths and areas for support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all services align with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and guidance to staff on behavioral, academic, and socio-emotional issues
This position offers attractive hourly compensation between $45 and $55, depending on experience.
