Certified School Psychologist in Fostoria, OH

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio School Psychologist certification
• Previous experience in K-6 or elementary environments preferred
• Deep understanding of evaluations, interventions, and student support strategies
• Familiarity with participating in and contributing to IEP meetings
• Strong observational skills for assessing student needs and providing recommendations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for elementary students
• Attend and participate actively in IEP meetings as a core team member
• Observe students in various environments to identify strengths and areas for support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all services align with school and state guidelines
• Provide consultation and guidance to staff on behavioral, academic, and socio-emotional issues

This position offers attractive hourly compensation between $45 and $55, depending on experience.
