Key qualifications and preferred experience:

  • Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Appropriate state certification or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments, test administration, and report writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students
  • Prepare thorough and timely evaluation reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, families, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and supports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation services
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality
  • Utilize a district-provided laptop to facilitate efficient documentation and communication
