Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Appropriate state certification or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, test administration, and report writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students
- Prepare thorough and timely evaluation reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, families, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and supports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality
- Utilize a district-provided laptop to facilitate efficient documentation and communication
