Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification and license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention across K-12 age groups
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and IEP processes
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Excellent communication skills for consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Commitment to ethical practices, student privacy, and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal psychological assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and support services for students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to promote positive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate student progress
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Support school-wide strategies for improving academic and behavioral outcomes
