Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and effective interventions
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling services to high school students, supporting their academic and emotional wellbeing
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral intervention planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in student support team meetings, offering insight on intervention strategies and student needs
• Promote positive school climate by facilitating preventative programs and crisis intervention when necessary
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations
