Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and effective interventions
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling services to high school students, supporting their academic and emotional wellbeing
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral intervention planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in student support team meetings, offering insight on intervention strategies and student needs
- Promote positive school climate by facilitating preventative programs and crisis intervention when necessary
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations
