Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff across three school buildings in a vibrant academic setting. In this role, you’ll work onsite, Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a direct focus on the special education evaluation process and collaborative efforts to enhance student outcomes.

You’ll serve as a key resource for special education assessments—completing approximately 70 evaluations annually—and play a crucial role in fostering communication among staff, families, and administrators. Your expertise will help shape individualized educational plans, while your guidance ensures adherence to Indiana’s special education policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana School Psychologist license required
  • Demonstrated experience in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility decisions preferred
  • Knowledgeable in special education law, best practices, and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple evaluations efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students across three school sites
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support teams to interpret findings and develop actionable strategies
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to review cases and support district-wide initiatives
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations
  • Serve as a resource for the district supervisor and collaborate closely with school staff to align student support strategies
