K-5 Licensed School Psychologist | Franklin, Michigan

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while working in a collaborative school environment as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment. This position serves a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school levels, providing vital support and guidance for students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about helping young people succeed and bring a flexible, resourceful approach to working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid School Psychologist license
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students at various grade levels, from K-5 to 6-8 and 9-12
• Solid understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Develop and help implement intervention plans in cooperation with educators and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams to share insights and recommendations
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
• Facilitate preventive programming to promote student well-being and resilience
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school and state requirements
