Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist license
- Experience or strong interest in supporting students at various grade levels, from K-5 to 6-8 and 9-12
- Solid understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Develop and help implement intervention plans in cooperation with educators and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams to share insights and recommendations
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
- Facilitate preventive programming to promote student well-being and resilience
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school and state requirements
