School Psychologist - Elementary and Middle School
Position Overview
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time onsite opportunity during the 2026–2027 school year. This education industry position will support students primarily at a middle school campus, with additional coverage at an early elementary K–2 site within the surrounding Franklin Park area. The selected candidate will join a collaborative special education team focused on supporting student success through evaluations, behavioral support, and individualized services.
Assignment Details
This contract position runs from August 10, 2026 through May 22, 2027, with students returning on August 12. The schedule is five days per week for a total of 35 hours weekly. The School Psychologist will spend three days each week at the middle school campus and the remaining time supporting a K–2 program nearby. Compensation for this role ranges from $50–$68 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
The School Psychologist will conduct student observations, complete psychoeducational evaluations, and manage both initial and re-evaluations throughout the school year. Responsibilities also include assisting with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans while collaborating closely with special education staff and district personnel. The annual workload is expected to include approximately 30–40 evaluations during the normal school year. Strong communication and teamwork skills will be important in supporting students across multiple educational settings.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Psychologist endorsement. The district is specifically seeking candidates with prior experience developing and supporting BIPs, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary special education teams. School-based experience is strongly preferred, particularly within middle school or elementary educational environments. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple campuses while maintaining organized documentation and compliance standards.
