Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling services in a school setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and understanding of special education laws and guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer individual and group assessments to evaluate academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with school personnel on student behavior, intervention strategies, and support services
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure positive student outcomes
  • Maintain timely documentation and communication, adhering to ethical and legal standards
