Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling services in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and understanding of special education laws and guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer individual and group assessments to evaluate academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with school personnel on student behavior, intervention strategies, and support services
