Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in School Psychology
- Proven skills in cognitive assessments, rating scales, and conducting classroom observations
- Strong familiarity with special education processes, including eligibility meetings and re-evaluations
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with educational diagnosticians, social workers, and service providers
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations—including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Participate in and interpret eligibility and re-evaluation meetings, guiding school teams and supporting eligibility worksheet completion
- Provide consultative support and interventions to school staff, students, and families across potentially 2-3 assigned sites, with careful effort made to accommodate preference and caseload
- Work closely with educational diagnosticians administering achievement testing, ensuring coordinated, high-quality service delivery
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, including child study and manifestation determination reviews
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with dedicated education and care teams, including social workers and related service personnel
