School Psychologist - Fremont, California

Key Requirements:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with special education procedures, IEP development, and student assessment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic evaluations to identify student needs
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and families to design effective interventions
• Advocate for students’ rights and promote a positive and inclusive school culture
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education as required
