Key Qualifications:

  • Active California PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Psychology
  • Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Proficiency with psycho-educational assessments, IEP meetings, and Response-to-Intervention (RTI)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Major Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ need for special education services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student support plans and interventions
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEPs and Section 504 meetings
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
