Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a school psychologist supporting students’ growth and well-being in an educational setting near Fremont, NE. Beginning in August 2026 and extending through May 2027, this role offers a fulfilling balance of in-person engagement and hybrid flexibility, with the option to complete paperwork from home.

You’ll work 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the school day starting at 7:45 AM and ending at 3:30 PM. The position invites professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about comprehensive student assessment, intervention, and collaborative problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
  • Proficiency in administering cognitive and academic testing (especially using Q-Interactive)
  • Familiarity with the Student Support Team (SST) process and initial Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Experience with both direct assessment and indirect service such as consultation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and deadlines
  • Previous contract or school-based experience is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive cognitive and academic testing to inform individualized education planning
  • Administer and interpret behavioral assessments, including initial FBAs
  • Participate in SST meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and document recommendations and reports using Q-Interactive and digital tools
  • Provide insights and support for interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Balance responsibilities between onsite meetings and remote paperwork completion
