Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a school psychologist supporting students’ growth and well-being in an educational setting near Fremont, NE. Beginning in August 2026 and extending through May 2027, this role offers a fulfilling balance of in-person engagement and hybrid flexibility, with the option to complete paperwork from home.
You’ll work 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the school day starting at 7:45 AM and ending at 3:30 PM. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
- Proficiency in administering cognitive and academic testing (especially using Q-Interactive)
- Familiarity with the Student Support Team (SST) process and initial Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Experience with both direct assessment and indirect service such as consultation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and deadlines
- Previous contract or school-based experience is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive cognitive and academic testing to inform individualized education planning
- Administer and interpret behavioral assessments, including initial FBAs
- Participate in SST meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and document recommendations and reports using Q-Interactive and digital tools
- Provide insights and support for interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Balance responsibilities between onsite meetings and remote paperwork completion
