In this full-time, contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week), you’ll be responsible for a variety of essential duties within an engaging educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Ohio School Psychologist certification is required
- Experience working in elementary settings is highly preferred
- Skilled in conducting student evaluations and interpreting assessment results
- Proficient in leading and attending IEP meetings
- Strong observational and reporting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of elementary-age students, supporting their academic and emotional development
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations, using data to inform individualized interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocating for student needs
- Conduct classroom and student observations to identify and address barriers to success
- Partner with teachers and families to create safe, supportive learning spaces
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with district and state policies
