This role involves working approximately 20 hours per week, fostering balanced work-life integration while making a difference in the lives of young learners. In-person work is required (no virtual/VOCO services at this time), allowing you to engage directly with students and educational teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification/license in Texas
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating and supporting students in PreK-12 settings
  • Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary meetings
  • Flexibility to support multiple schools, if needed, within the district

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling, intervention, and consultative services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiatives
  • Document services and maintain organized records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
