Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for the state
  • Experience with psychological and academic assessments
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Ability to develop meaningful rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP process, 504 plans, and special education services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create effective intervention and support plans
  • Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling or skill-building sessions for students as needed
  • Assist in developing and implementing positive behavioral interventions across the school
  • Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to students facing academic or emotional challenges
  • Remain current on best practices in school psychology to enhance the effectiveness of services
