School Psychologist - Front Royal, VA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
• Experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in K-12 settings
• Strong understanding of diverse student needs and crisis intervention strategies
• Skilled in conducting assessments, interpreting data, and formulating comprehensive reports
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform psycho-educational and behavioral assessments for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
• Contribute to functional behavior analyses and conduct risk assessments
• Offer crisis prevention and intervention as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district policies
