Key Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
- Experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of diverse student needs and crisis intervention strategies
- Skilled in conducting assessments, interpreting data, and formulating comprehensive reports
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psycho-educational and behavioral assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Contribute to functional behavior analyses and conduct risk assessments
- Offer crisis prevention and intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district policies
