Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, counsel, and provide interventions for students with diverse needs
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in problem-solving teams and response-to-intervention (RTI) processes
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support to students
- Consult with staff and parents on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
