School Psychologist - Frostproof, FL

The assignment begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably K-12
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess, counsel, and provide interventions for students with diverse needs
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in student support

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations for educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Participate in problem-solving teams and response-to-intervention (RTI) processes
• Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support to students
• Consult with staff and parents on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
