An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated school psychologist to provide invaluable support to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning in August and running through May. This full-time, onsite contract position will be situated near Frostproof, FL, offering a chance to make a genuine difference in students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.

As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll work collaboratively to create a positive learning environment and ensure that all students have the resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and consultation skills
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Expertise in implementing effective interventions and support plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Advise educators and parents on strategies for academic and behavioral success
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts on campus
  • Collaborate with teams to foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
  • Maintain thorough documentation and provide clear communication with stakeholders
