School Psychologist - Fruitland, NM

As an onsite School Psychologist/Diagnostician, you will serve multiple schools, collaborating with educators to enhance student outcomes through expert assessment and consultative services. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field required
• Valid NM PED School Psychologist License
• Experience conducting comprehensive educational and behavioral evaluations
• Ability to consult with teachers and families to inform interventions and supports
• Comfortable traveling between schools within the district
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and case management skills

Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for a caseload averaging 30–40 evaluations
• Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Advocate for students' academic, social, and emotional needs by offering evidence-based recommendations
• Maintain detailed and secure documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

This onsite role spans the school year and beyond, beginning as soon as possible through late May 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule and the rewarding opportunity to positively influence students districtwide.
