Make a positive impact working onsite as a School Psychologist supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time contract role runs from early August through late May, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated educational team. It’s ideally suited for professionals who are passionate about fostering academic and emotional growth in school-aged children. Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply for one of two available positions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of school psychology practices and principles
- Valid Arizona Educator Certification
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience working with PreK–8th grade populations (preferred)
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Provide direct and consultative support for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Act as a resource for teachers and parents regarding student behavior and learning challenges
- Maintain accurate records adhering to legal and ethical guidelines
