Key Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina licensure as a School Psychologist (School Psych II required)
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Previous experience or strong interest working within K-12 school environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students in accordance with district standards and SC regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff on students’ educational and behavioral needs
  • Keep accurate, detailed records of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
  • Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting social-emotional learning initiatives
