Key Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina licensure as a School Psychologist (School Psych II required)
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Previous experience or strong interest working within K-12 school environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students in accordance with district standards and SC regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff on students’ educational and behavioral needs
- Keep accurate, detailed records of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
- Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting social-emotional learning initiatives
