Qualifications & Experience:
- Current School Psychologist license in South Carolina
- Familiarity with school-based evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and special education processes
- Experience working in K-6 settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Ability to organize, manage caseloads, and meet deadlines in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Prepare clear, concise reports outlining recommendations and findings
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultations, attend team meetings, and deliver recommendations to support student needs
- Engage in crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative mental health support as needed
- Split schedule between two elementary schools, adapting services based on site-specific requirements
