This position will support elementary-aged students through comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and collaboration with school teams.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• 37.5 hours per week
• Onsite
• Location: Gaffney, SC
• Assigned Campuses:
  • Blacksburg Primary School
  • Limestone-Central Elementary School

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
• Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with South Carolina special education requirements

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina School Psychologist license/certification required
• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
