Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in California
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a School Psychologist in California schools (K-12)
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working fully onsite, 35 hours per week
  • Familiarity with IEP process and legal requirements in California schools
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support for students
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to enhance student success
  • Support school-wide positive behavioral supports and social-emotional learning
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and uphold all district guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and staff trainings
