Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Skilled in designing and implementing behavioral interventions
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to promoting student advocacy and diversity
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to students as needed
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to recommend strategies for academic and social success
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and provide expertise on student eligibility and service delivery models
  • Contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) systems, and promote mental health awareness within the school community
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards
