Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Skilled in designing and implementing behavioral interventions
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to promoting student advocacy and diversity
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to students as needed
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to recommend strategies for academic and social success
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and provide expertise on student eligibility and service delivery models
- Contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) systems, and promote mental health awareness within the school community
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards
