School Psychologist in Gardner, KS

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Strong background in conducting evaluations and report writing
• Proficient in supporting IEP teams with assessments and recommendations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to travel between two school buildings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for services
• Collaborate with special education and general education teams to interpret assessment results
• Contribute expertise to IEP teams, assisting with the development of appropriate supports and interventions
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families to help create positive educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
• Manage caseload responsibilities by moving between both middle and high school locations
