Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
- Strong background in conducting evaluations and report writing
- Proficient in supporting IEP teams with assessments and recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Ability to travel between two school buildings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for services
- Collaborate with special education and general education teams to interpret assessment results
- Contribute expertise to IEP teams, assisting with the development of appropriate supports and interventions
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to help create positive educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
- Manage caseload responsibilities by moving between both middle and high school locations
