This full-time, on-site contract position offers a dynamic experience, working closely with students in K-12, with a specific focus on either elementary or middle school (final assignment to be determined). You’ll provide essential psychological services, supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessments and counseling techniques
  • Ability to maintain organized documentation and collaborate with education teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility to work in diverse school environments and adjust to varying caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 10 student evaluations per month to identify individual academic and behavioral needs
  • Provide counseling services for 6-8 students (exact numbers based on caseload and grade level)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement student intervention plans
  • Participate in meetings to support student success, including IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely, thorough records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed
