Job Type Contract

Exciting opportunities are available for school psychologists eager to make a positive difference in K-12 educational settings. This contract position provides flexible scheduling—choose from part-time or full-time hours—to support students, families, and staff throughout the academic year. The assignment runs from August 2026 to May 2027, offering rewarding, ongoing engagement within a collaborative school environment near Garland, TX.

You will work with a diverse range of elementary through high school students, playing an essential part in assessments, evaluations, and participation in ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings). Bilingual school psychologists are especially valued and may be invited to join the early childhood team to broaden their impact. The main focus is on the evaluation process: typically 8-12 evaluations per month, without responsibilities for counseling or conducting cognitive/achievement testing. This means your expertise will be concentrated on providing crucial insights and recommendations for students’ educational planning.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting student assessments and evaluations
  • Participating actively in ARD meetings
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff
  • Completing comprehensive reports and documentation—remote options available for this aspect
  • Supporting district-wide initiatives and the early childhood team, especially if bilingual

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous K-12 school experience is highly preferred
  • Bilingual skills are a strong asset
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

If you are seeking an engaging opportunity that blends in-person collaboration with flexible options for remote paperwork and report writing, we encourage you to apply today. Take the next step in your professional journey and help shape the future for students across grade levels—interviews are being scheduled promptly!
