School Psychologist in Garland, TX

This contract position is located near Garland, TX, with flexibility for either part-time or full-time hours—only one position remains available! Starting in early August 2026 and running through late May 2027, you'll have the opportunity to support students across multiple sites in an itinerant capacity.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas School Psychologist license required
• Prior experience working in schools, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Proven ability to conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent time management for traveling between schools

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessments for 3-4 students each week (school handles ongoing counseling)
• Work across various elementary campuses in an itinerant role
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and ensure services align with best practices
• Document evaluation results, recommendations, and communicate findings clearly to all stakeholders
