Step into a vital role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a contracted school psychologist. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week immersed in a dynamic K-12 caseload near Gastonia, NC. You’ll be a key contributor in enhancing student wellbeing and fostering a positive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification and active state licensure in North Carolina
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and interpreting results
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
  • Comfortable adapting to both elementary and high school contexts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and support staff to interpret assessment data and inform intervention strategies
  • Provide consultation services for classroom strategies, behavioral interventions, and academic supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, helping to craft individualized educational plans
  • Maintain documentation and case notes in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students on your caseload
