Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in school-based assessment, counseling, and interventions
  • Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
  • Excellent communication and consultative skills with students, parents, and educators
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations and varying needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students’ learning and behavioral needs
  • Interpret test results, collaborate in the eligibility process, and provide recommendations for supports and services
  • Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding student challenges and best practices
  • Deliver direct interventions, including counseling, crisis intervention, or skill-building groups
  • Advocate for students’ well-being and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment within the school community
