Step into a fulfilling role making a real difference for students as a School Psychologist for the 2026–27 school year. This full-time, contract position runs approximately from mid-August 2026 through early June 2027, offering the chance to support learners in either a 7th–8th grade junior high or K–4 elementary program. With a 35-hour work week, you’ll play a central part in promoting student well-being and supporting special education services.

Your expertise in Illinois regulations and the IDEA framework is highly valued here. You'll work with a dynamic team implementing MTSS processes, conducting assessments, and leading meetings that drive student success. Prior experience with IEPs, 504s, and special education timelines is preferred, as is familiarity with Q-global and FastBridge assessment platforms.

Key Qualifications:

  • State-licensed School Psychologist (Illinois credential preferred)
  • Strong grasp of IDEA and Illinois special education laws
  • Experience with MTSS processes
  • Skilled in special education evaluations and timelines
  • Knowledge of Manifestation Determinations, scheduling, and facilitating domain meetings, EDCs, and ARs
  • Proficiency with IEPs, 504s, DS, and assessment systems such as Q-global and FastBridge
  • Comfortable using Google Docs for documentation and collaboration

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services for assigned caseload
  • Conduct assessments, analyze data, and collaborate on intervention strategies
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Guide teams through MTSS, manifestation determinations, and program placement decisions
  • Maintain detailed and timely records aligned with school and district protocols
