Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state certification (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in school settings, supporting students from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of interventions to support student emotional and academic growth
  • Monitor student progress and adjust supports as required
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering guidance on best practices
