The contract runs from late August through mid-June, matching the school calendar and providing a structured, fulfilling schedule.
You’ll be part of a collaborative educational team, providing on-site services with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Your day-to-day will involve assessments, counseling, and consultation services, all tailored to evolving caseload needs within assigned schools and student age groups. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in School Psychology
- Valid certification or state licensure for school psychology in Maryland
- Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing, including House Bill 486 district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Experience providing school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to support multiple campuses as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments
- Develop and implement intervention plans in partnership with educators and families
- Provide consultation to staff and parents regarding student needs and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Participate in intervention/prevention programs that foster academic and social-emotional development
