A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and learning needs in the Glendale, AZ area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in a K-12 setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities effectively
