Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification
  • Experience conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theory, childhood development, and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Proven ability to interpret test results and communicate findings to educators and parents
  • Comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds and ages
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services for students, including evaluations, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Administer and interpret a range of assessments to identify educational, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies for student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs
  • Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports across the school community
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
