Embark on a school-based contract opportunity near Glendale, AZ, as a School Psychologist supporting PreK through 8th-grade students. This full-time role runs from ASAP through May 27th, 2027. Your impact will be felt through involvement in evaluations, IEP meetings, and the oversight of out-of-district placements, providing essential support for growing students and the school community.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Card
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with diverse PreK-8th grade caseloads
- Familiarity with special education processes and federal/state guidelines preferred
- Ability to provide psychological assessments and participate collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform student evaluations to determine learning needs and provide recommendations
- Attend IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and supporting student goals
- Oversee out-of-district placements to ensure continuity of student services
- Participate in the MDR (Manifestation Determination Review) process and support the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Take on additional school psychology duties as required
