School Psychologist in Glendale, AZ

Embark on a school-based contract opportunity near Glendale, AZ, as a School Psychologist supporting PreK through 8th-grade students. This full-time role runs from ASAP through May 27th, 2027. Your impact will be felt through involvement in evaluations, IEP meetings, and the oversight of out-of-district placements, providing essential support for growing students and the school community.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Card
• Experience working in school settings, ideally with diverse PreK-8th grade caseloads
• Familiarity with special education processes and federal/state guidelines preferred
• Ability to provide psychological assessments and participate collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform student evaluations to determine learning needs and provide recommendations
• Attend IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and supporting student goals
• Oversee out-of-district placements to ensure continuity of student services
• Participate in the MDR (Manifestation Determination Review) process and support the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate regularly with staff and families
• Take on additional school psychology duties as required
