You’ll manage a caseload conducting between 20 to 40 evaluations each year, collaborating closely with dedicated teams to drive positive outcomes for students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Professional licensure as a School Psychologist (state certification required)
- Experience within K-12 schools preferred
- Solid understanding of special education laws and IEP process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize student needs
- Background in conducting psychoeducational assessments
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for assigned students
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with staff and families
- Serve as a resource to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team by offering interventions and behavioral supports
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning challenges
- Maintain detailed assessment records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in regular team meetings within school hours (8 am–4 pm)
