Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Illinois
- Previous experience working in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong understanding of special education processes and MTSS frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations for a diverse caseload (ranging from 20-40 evaluations per year)
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, partnering with educators, families, and service providers to develop student supports
- Provide direct consultation and intervention support to students, staff, and the MTSS team
- Interpret assessment results and develop actionable recommendations for student progress
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
