Job Title: School Psychologist – Gloucester, VA | 2026–2027 School Year
We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Gloucester, Virginia for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with both elementary and middle school students while providing comprehensive psychological services in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Details
- Location: Gloucester, VA
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Start Date: Preferred August 3, 2026 (August 10 acceptable; no later than August 24, 2026)
- End Date: Second week of June 2027

Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
- 8-hour workdays
- 30-minute unpaid lunch

Caseload & Responsibilities
- Complete approximately 60–80 psychological evaluations annually.
- Conduct psychological testing only (no educational/achievement testing required).
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
- Provide individual and/or group counseling services as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Participate in special education meetings and contribute to eligibility and intervention planning.
Qualifications
- Required: Virginia license/certification to practice as a School Psychologist.
