Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist License
  • Experience working with high school-aged students strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of special education law, evaluation processes, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in student support team meetings and contribute expertise to the multi-disciplinary team
  • Offer professional development and consultation to staff on best practices in educational psychology
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all services align with state and federal regulations
