Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification
• Prior K-8 experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in counseling and psychological assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Solid understanding of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments for K-8 students (full caseload, approximately 670 students)
• Deliver individual and group counseling for mental health support
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Develop/implement interventions for behavioral and emotional challenges
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to student goal planning
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary
• Educate school staff and parents on children’s mental health topics
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential records of student assessments/interventions
• Perform additional duties as assigned
