Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to work well as part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students, interpreting results and recommending interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement academic and behavioral support plans
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services to students as needed
  • Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Promote safe and supportive school climates through staff development and student programming
