Desired Background & Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Comfortable conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering counseling/interventions
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal education laws and special education requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff in developing educational and behavioral intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input and recommendations
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to students as needed
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school setting
  • Support staff and families with resources and strategies to enhance student success
