Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering counseling/interventions
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal education laws and special education requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff in developing educational and behavioral intervention plans
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input and recommendations
- Deliver individual and group counseling services to students as needed
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school setting
- Support staff and families with resources and strategies to enhance student success
