Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a full-time School Psychologist. Positioned near Grand Blanc, MI, this role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2027, providing stability and a meaningful chance to support student success. You’ll be collaborating closely with another School Psychologist, sharing a balanced caseload and contributing to a dynamic educational team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Comfortable working with students across Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for support
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support the development of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Provide both direct and indirect counseling services to students, as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and present findings
- Assist in crisis intervention and consultation services for students and staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
