Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active NE School Psychologist certification or eligibility
  • Previous experience within an educational setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in conducting educational and psychological assessments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for students as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts
  • Facilitate training initiatives for staff on mental health and behavioral supports
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
